A Boy with Dreams and a Guitar ...

Family Matters
I was born the 12th August 1968 near Birmingham England to a Cypriot father
and Irish mother, the youngest of three children.
Being a hotel manager, my father
moved around England for his job taking the family with him when he went to a
new hotel every 1 or 2 years.
The Young Entertainer
I was already entertaining from the age of 8 years, playing
and singing songs with my guitar for family and friends. If no instrument
was available then comedy and vocal imitations of John Wayne or Ronald Reagan
were amongst my repertoire.
I had been in the choir at church through most of my younger years
and although I was never a soloist I enjoyed using my voice and being involved
in music and if it was not music it was acting in the various school productions.
Sports as First Vocation
My first vocation was in the sporting arena, because I was said to be an excellent rugby player
and athlete and as a consequence I was competing at national and international level.

Discovering the World
by Sports and Music...
Sports as the Ticket into the
World
After leaving school I decided to pack my things and worked as a windsurfing and mountain biking instructor
in central France before going to work as an assistant sports teacher back
in England and then to do the same in Australia at Riverview in Sydney in
1988.
After a year in Australia I returned to France again to the Massif Central
where I was contacted by a first division rugby team who wanted to
recruit me.
I stayed for 3 years also working as an English teacher and at this
time becoming more and more in music.
Music as Second Invocation
I played my first official solo concert at the Hotel de la Poste, owned
by one of one of my friends Lisa, and it was immediately a fair success.
Finding
work as a Guitarist Singer was never a problem and after 2 years of playing
seasonally I said goodbye to rugby and to teaching and packed my bags
for the Alps where I started Ski Guiding during the day and playing in
a variety of bars and hotels in the night.

The Calling of "The
Azure-Blue Coast"
In 1995 I recorded my first
album produced by Laurent Chatourel under the small label “roots force” writing
only three of the songs and covering some songs that I liked at that time.
This album has sold
5000 copies from the concerts that I and the band played.
Still most of the year I played in a smaller formation of two guitarists, me on lead
vocals.
After playing many seasons in
the Alps and travelling to play in France, Belgium, Spain, Cyprus, I decided
it was time to go to the Cote d'Azur and see if I could do
something there.
It did not take long before I was accepted and said to be "the most versatile voice"
in the bay of St. Tropez.
I am generally playing a 2 hour solo guitar , voice and harmonica
show every evening in May, June, July, August and September covering the
great songs of pop and rock and then playing in the piano bars of St. Tropez
and Monaco as the style changes to Sinatra, Lionel Ritchie and many more.
You can often catch me late at night in St. Tropez at the Octave Café jamming
with friends late into the night.
My passion for music shows in the 300 concerts each year through 20
countries over 10 years as a professional musician always doing my best to captivate my public
with one of the 800 songs I know and play - as people tell me - "in such an authentic
way".
My motto is :
"If the people
don’t clap it's because you didn’t
make them want to!"
I live around Europe and at the moment can be found every summer playing
to 200 people per night in the bay of St. Tropez and with every song I sing
you will see on my face the enjoyment and determination that the music
gives me.
